Inspector Yeshwant (Nana Patekar) is an honest police officer, married to a loving woman, Ragini (Madhoo). He is assigned to trap a drug-dealer and succeeds in his mission. But in the process, he opens a real can of worms – his boss Chopra (Mohan Joshi) who is the shadowy figure behind all these murky deals, gets panicky and frames Yeshwant in a murder case. Yeshwant is jailed and Ragini is left to fend for herself. She takes up a job in the police department and slowly begins to uncover the truth behind Yeshwant’s imprisonment. An old friend, Atul (Atul Agnihotri) comes back into her life and she takes his help. The wily Chopra realizes that she is getting very close to the facts and concocts a story about a relationship between Atul and Ragini. Yeshwant completes his term in jail and comes out, blazing with anger against the whole world…..This action-packed film is Nana Patekar’s all the way, filled with fiery dialogues and histrionics. A great performance from Madhoo, who holds her own in this Nana Patekar-dominated film, directed by Anil Mattu.
