Shankar, his wife geeta & deepak are a poor but happy family.tragedy strike one day, when deepak wanders over to the train tracks, geeta rushes to warn and save him, but gets killed instatly herself by a train. Deepak loses his voice and cannot speak because of the trauma. Shankar takes him to a doctor who says that deepak can regain his voice but would need an expensive operation.shankar cannot afford this operation but is determined to raise the money. Shankar takes part in a gruelling tournament that puts his very life at risk.
