Synopsis of Mr & Mrs. Khiladi DVD
Taking a break from his customary action flicks, this comedy has Akshay Kumar playing an over-educated unemployed youth. His uncle, who’s an astrologer, predicts a great future for him and he decides to do nothing till this happens! When he meets Shalu (Juhi Chawla), the lovely daughter of a multi-millionaire (Kadar Khan) and falls in love with her, he decides that this is it! But the twist in the tale is that her father has no great opinion of this ne’er-do-well suitor for his daughter and though he agrees to get them married, insists that his son-in-law does some real good hard work for a living…This breezy entertainer finds Akshay Kumar in a different role, unlike his customary action-oriented ones. The film is directed by David Dhawan and the music composed by Anu Malik includes the zany ‘Jab Tak Rahenge Samose Mein Alu.’
