Ajay (Rishi Kapoor), a chronic gambler and prankster, constantly places bets on anything and everything. His friends, Nisha (Neetu Singh) and Vikram (Rakesh Roshan) among them, keep warning him that he will land up in trouble one day but he is loath to get rid of his devil-may-care attitude. Sitting idle in the local restaurant, Ajay plans to blackmail a rich man into doling out some money. The man agrees to pay the amount at a pre-arranged spot. Ajay is thrilled at the prospect of getting some money to fool around with but things go out of control when the rich man is found murdered the next day. And the three friends find a man following them at a discreet distance. Then Vikram disappears....
