The film, as promised, takes off where Vaastav ended. Rohit (Sanjay Dutt) has grown to a young respected man. However, it doesn’t take long for mobsters to become quite aware of his identity and blood lineage. What surprises Rohit is that the ones he trusts the most are not to be trusted. Rohit is shot by Pakya (Sharad Kapoor). Rohit is hospitalized and the film then recollects the story of Vaastav and the period of Rohit’s growth in which he falls in love with Shilpa (Shilpa Shetty). Pakya heads out now not only to ruin Rohit but also to avenge Shilpa for a mysterious witnessing of a crime. Rohit must save himself, prove his father’s name in pride and save Shilpa from situations she can not control. Rohit’s progression is undoubtedly meant to end up like his fathers, but his mother (Namrata Shrodkar) tries her best to prevent this. But in the end, they must all come face to face with reality.
