The happily-married life of Karan (Rishi Kapoor) and Timsi (Neetu Singh) is disrupted when Nisha (Raakhee), a brilliant advertising executive, comes to work in Karan's ad agency. She is an older woman with a tragic past and in Karan, she tries to rediscover the dream of the days gone by. The lives of these three people get caught in a cruel whirlpool…. This was a daring film for its time, dealing with the sensitive issue of an older woman who expresses her need for love and gets into a relationship with a younger man. Raakhee plays the role of Nisha with her characteristic smouldering intensity and the film is directed by Ramesh Talwar. Music composed by Rajesh Roshan includes some great tracks like ‘ Aankhon Mein Kajal Hai’, ‘Nazaron Se Keh Do’ and ‘Kya Mausam Hai’.
