Two sisters are separated when their mother dies. Zulekan goes to live with their father and Shama goes to live with their aunt. Many years later Zulekan meets Yusuf, when they perform on stage together. He is attracted to Zulekan but it is Shama who is attracted to Yusuf. Zulekan is already betrothed to Babar Ali so Yusuf marries Shama. Babar Ali is killed on their wedding day when he falls off his horse and his family put the blame on Zulekan. Matters come to a head when Yusuf tries to help Zulekan and Shama acts against her sister out of jealousy.
