K Raghavendra Rao, who’s directing his 99th film here, says, “I think all families in India face money problems. We have tried to give them a funny touch.” This light-hearted entertainer is about four couples, living in a typical Bombay tenement and the compromises they have to make and the struggles they have to undergo, to make both ends meet, as expenses mount and income remains static. The film stars Juhi Chawla, Govinda, Tabu and Chandrachur Singh and has Vinay Anand, Govinda’s nephew, making his debut paired opposite former model Isha Koppikar. Johnny Lever and Ketki Dave, of “Kyonki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi”, (the hit TV serial) fame, providing more laughs. The film is remade from a Telugu original.
